high time mid-afternoon people fly by in the traffic's boom
Hey there - I'm very excited to have found this community! I grew up in Parkdale and am currently writing a story with environmental implications that's set there. (Living in Montreal at the moment.) I haven't browsed the entries yet or scrolled through the fantastic links, but will get on that shortly. One of my reasons for joining is to learn more about local plant and animal species. For this kind of information, the Toronto Public Space Community's guerrilla gardening site and the Ontario government's site have been helpful so far. But if anyone knows what kinds of grasses grow throughout the city (the most popular sort, and the sort(s) that might push through cracks in the sidewalk), I'd be interested to know.
